World Clean and Green Week: Why It Matters

Every year, from September 17 to 23, people around the world celebrate World Clean and Green Week. It’s a special time to remind ourselves how important it is to take care of our planet. With all the pollution, climate change, and damage happening to nature, this week encourages everyone to do their part to keep the Earth clean and green.

During this week, lots of communities, schools, and groups organize different activities like planting trees, cleaning up parks and streets, and learning about recycling. These are not just one-time events; they are chances for people to understand how even small actions can add up to big changes. Picking up trash, using less plastic, and saving water might seem simple, but they really do help.

It brings people together. No matter where you live or who you are, we all share this planet, and we all have a responsibility to protect it. It is not just about one week; it is about starting habits that last all year round.

In the end, World Clean and Green Week reminds us that caring for the environment is something we can all do. When we work together, even small efforts can make the world a cleaner and greener place for ourselves and for future generations.
