Brent International School in Baguio City and Manila, in partnership with the Episcopal Church in the Philippines’ School for Peace, Relevant Instruction, Nurturance, and Transformation Organization, donated 920 textbooks for Grades 1 to 12 students to UC Project Health, Education, Livelihood, Environment, and Nurturance (HELEN) in July 2024.

Complementing this effort, UC Libraries contributed an additional 345 volumes of textbooks, general references, and manuals. Under the leadership of UC Project HELEN’s literacy project head, Atty. Paolo Salvosa, a total of 1,254 books will be distributed to UC’s adopted schools and barangay libraries across Baguio City and various municipalities in Benguet
